Sonic Automotive Steps up to Help with Hurricane Relief

When Hurricane Harvey barreled into south Texas, staff members at Land Rover Houston and other Sonic Automotive dealerships in the area went into action to help community members affected by the deluge.

Members of our staff lent a hand when Sonic Automotive Executive Vice President of Operations Jeff Dyke decided to step in and help. The crew gathered supplies like food, clothes, generators, and shopping gift cards and went into the flooded zone to provide aid.

In the midst of the Hurricane and flooding, 135 employees from the area's 19 Sonic Automotive Dealerships had either been evacuated, trapped in their homes, or lost their homes entirely.

Over at Audi Central Houston, staff members held a supplies drive to help get needed food and items to victims.

Dyke and staff members from Land Rover Houston and other area Sonic Automotive dealerships are continuing to provide support in many ways to help get the community back on its feet.
