Last year's LA Motor Show greeted us with the Range Rover Autobiography Black trim, which was available only in the model's long-wheelbase bodystyle, but we're hearing that option may no longer be so exclusive.

Land Rover is saying that trim may soon be available to other models, including the standard-wheelbase Range Rover and the Range Rover Sport.

The current Range Rover Autobiography Black was initially exclusive to only 100 units in the national market. That Range Rover came with a new grille and model-specific wheels on the outside of its extended frame, which frankly, makes it look like a super limo.

It's on the inside that the new Black trim really shines. The interior is where this new trim really shines. Each of the four seats comes with its own temperature and massage controls and a wide range of adjustability allows for maximum comfort.

The Black trim on the regular Range Rover and Range Rover Sport is slated to include a rear center console, electrically controlled tray tables, a bottle chiller and 10.2-inch rear entertainment screens to keep the kids happy. Add in the Medirian sound system and ten-color LED lighting, you'll definitely want to explore this option when it becomes available to a wider market.

In the meantime, of course, our Houston, TX dealership has a fully equipped lineup with a wide selection of new Land Rovers and Range Rovers. We here at Land Rover Houston Central would be happy to discuss these options with you and to help put you behind the wheel of one of our vehicles.
