Warning Lights for Our Luxury SUVs
Red Warning Indicators: Significant Issues
- Engine Temperature Warning: this means your engine is overheating, and it is best to stop the vehicle immediately
- Brake System Warning: this appears when you are low on brake fluid or there is a brake malfunction. Stop the vehicle if the parking brake isn’t in use and schedule an inspection
- Battery Charging System Warning: if your battery is not charging properly, this red indicator will appear. Try to avoid shutting your engine off until you are in a safe spot, then schedule service
- Airbag Warning: red indicator appears if there is an issue with your airbag or restraint systems. This can cause airbags not to function in a crash, and must be addressed right away
- Oil Pressure Indicator: red indicator appears if you are low on oil pressure. Stop driving and schedule service
Yellow Indicators: Service Soon
- Check Engine Light: this often indicates engine service is needed. Schedule service if your vehicle drives normally
- Tire Pressure Indicator: this appears if your tires are underinflated
- Traction Control Warning: yellow icon appears if your Dynamic Stability Control system isn’t working properly. Service is recommended
- ABS Warning: this appears when there is an issue with your anti-lock braking system- schedule service right away
- Suspension Warning: appears when air suspension or height adjustment features are malfunctioning. Avoid off-roading or rough terrain and schedule an appointment at our service center
Other model-specific icons include Hill Descent Control Warning, Terrain Response System Warning, and Low Fuel Warning. These relate to issues with driver-assist systems and if your luxury SUV is low on fuel
