Design
The recognizable, iconic style of the Defender 130 instantly turns heads in Houston, TX, and beyond. This luxury SUV offers an expanded wheelbase and length, giving you three rows of space and room for up to eight passengers. A newly available Octa trim offers unique sport seating, and the new Defender 130 offers a premium interior cabin. Highlights include standard equipment like dual-zone automatic climate control, heated power-adjustable front seats, and keyless entry/push-button engine start.
Tech and Safety
The Defender 130 comes with a wide set of standard tech systems. An 11.4-inch infotainment touchscreen pairs with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, while a 10-speaker Meridian audio system comes with standard satellite and HD radio. Wireless smartphone charging, remote controls, and a digital instrument panel are also standard. Standard driver-assist systems for the Defender 130 include Forward Collision Warning, Automatic Emergency Braking, Lane-Keeping Assist, Blind Spot Monitor, Rear Cross-Traffic Alert, a 360-Degree Camera, Parking Sensors, Trailer Sway Damping, Driver Attention Monitor, Water Depth Sensing, and Traffic Sign Recognition.
Performance
The Defender 130 uses a standard turbo 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine, producing up to 296 horsepower and 417 lb-ft of torque while using mild hybrid technology. Optional engines include a turbo 3.0-liter 6-cylinder with 395 hp and 406 lb-ft and a supercharged 5.0-liter V8 with 493 hp and 450 lb-ft. Range-topping performance is available with the all-new Octa trim, which offers a turbo V8 with 626 hp and 553 lb-ft. An 8-speed automatic transmission and All-Wheel Drive are standard for all models.
